HEADWAY ROTHERHAM – PICKERING FAMILY HOLIDAY COTTAGE

This cottage is for use by families who would not usually get a holiday because of low income or other reasons.

There are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people in total (4 people in single beds and 2 in bunks) – 2 rooms on the first floor and 1 on the second. The Cottage is not suitable for those who use wheelchairs or who have difficulty climbing stairs. There is a small charge of just £30 to cover the cost of the cleaning and laundry. 3H Fund is a charity that makes it possible for disabled people, children and adults, to have memorable and fulfilling holidays. They are able to subsidise a range of group holidays for physically disabled people accompanied by volunteer carers.

They have a full range of manual handling equipment and there is a lift giving full access to the first floor. 24 hour care is provided by a fully qualified staff team offering an individualised package of care.
